Yes, it’s true! A networked XNA version of the classic PDP-1 game Spacewar! The game, written in about two hours, was based on a basic networked shooter game framework I had developed earlier in the week. In this setup, all the bullets are tracked locally by the clients. The only data, concerning remote players, sent over the network, is whether or not they are in firing mode. This significantly reduces the amount of data that would other wise need be to sent over the network.
